SteelHorse
STEELHORSE formed in 2009, infecting and gaining fans everywhere. Local success prompted these four men to form the monstrous southern/classic rock band STEELHORSE. Over the past couple of years, they have decided to put the wild horse in motion and take it to the riders. You don't want to miss an opportunity to check out a show!


     Richie Fountain - leading the band with his southern rock vocals and amazing guitar leads, comes from a long list of bands from blues, country and Rock. A self-taught musician at the school of hard knocks, Richie enjoys being the front man, and interacts very well with a crowd. He is the winner of two All WNY Music Awards in 2013 for best vocals and best classic rock band.
    Musical Influences include - Lynyrd Skynyrd, SRV, Molly Hatchett, Jimi Hendrix, Blackfoot, and Randy Roads.






    Brian Best - drummer. He comes from various musical backgrounds, and is no stranger to playing venues of all sizes. Brian is the winner of two awards - one for portrayal of the rock icon legend of the 50's (Buddy Holly) and one award for his own music. Brian is on a mission to entertain people on every level.
    Musical influences include - Rush, Jimi Hendrix, and Emerson Lake and Palmer. Southen rock influences are Molly Hatchet, The Outlaws, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Pure Prairie League.








    Gary Pokrzyk - rhythm guitar. He has earned his place rounding out the southern based Steelhorse sound. Dedication to Gary is no stranger with his hard driving guitar and his constant effort to make Steelhorse the best! He has received an All WNY Music Award in 2013 for best classic rock.
    Musical influences include - Triumph, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels, Rush, Rik Emmett








    Tony Laforte - bass guitar. His background includes both live performances and studio recordings. Hard driving rock, jazz and progressive rock serve as the framework of Tony's style, giving him a sound with an aggressive edge. Tony has been nominated for and received various Buffalo Music Awards.
    Musical Influences include - Stanley Clark, Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, and Geezer Butler.
